Will our session be cancelled if it rains?
You still take part in the rain. Our theory is…you are going to get wet anyway and it is great fun in the rain. We have wet suits available to hire.
What happens if I am late due to poor traffic?
We will do our best to get you on the session as soon as possible, however this cannot be guaranteed. If you miss your session, no refund will be given. We cannot be held responsible if you are late. That is why we strongly suggest you get to the park at least 45 minutes before your booked session. Therefore if you are booked on at 1pm, you will need to arrive before 12.15pm to enable us to check your waiver and book you in.
What happens in extreme weather conditions like high winds?
There may be instances when Southlake Aqua Park need to cancel a booking. This could be for a number of reasons, but the most likely is extreme weather such as high winds. If we do need to cancel your booking we will give you as much notice as we can. We will use the information provided at the time of booking (email and phone number) to contact you. Please ensure you check your emails and phone before setting off. If this unfortunate event does happen, you will be able to rebook for another day. Unfortunately Southlake Aqua Park cannot be held liable for any costs incurred by the customer in the event of a cancellation.
How old do you have to be to go on the Aqua Park?
Children must be 6 years or older to go on the Aqua Park & be at least 1.1m tall
Do Children need to be accompanied by an adult to come to Southlake Aqua Park?
A responsible Adult (over 18) must accompany any child under the age of 12, up to a maximum of 4 children, on the Park
Does an Adult need to go on the inflatables with their children?
It is strongly recommended that an Adult accompanies any child under the age of 8 on the inflatables themselves. Parents are reminded though that it is THEIR responsibility to adequately supervise their children whilst on Park Premises.
Do I have to be able to swim?
Yes. All participants must be able to swim at least 30m unaided
Do I have to wear a Life Vest?
Yes. It is compulsory to wear the buoyancy aid provided by the Park at all times whilst on the water. It is recommended that children under 15 years old also wear the crash helmet provided
Do I have to wear a wetsuit?
No. Wetsuits are optional & can be hired for £5 per session either by including it when making your online booking or on the day (No refunds on wetsuit hire - Please only book if required)
Are there Lifeguards?
Yes. All our Lifeguards are Open Water Lifeguard Qualified. Parents are reminded though that it is THEIR responsibility to adequately supervise their children whilst on Park Premises.
Can I take my Mobile Phone on the inflatables?
No. Mobile phones are not allowed on the inflatables for any reason. Anything lost in the water cannot be retrieved!
Can I wear my jewellery on the inflatables?
No. All removeable jewellery, watches & glasses must be removed before entering the water. Anything lost in the water cannot be retrieved!
Where can I leave my personal belongings?
At the moment there are no lockers on site. Please safely store your personal belongings in your car or leave them with the person you came with. The Park does not accept responsibility for any lost or stolen items
Can I bring food and drink?
No food or drink is to be brought on site. We have food and drink available. We do however allow birthday cakes.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes so long as they are on a leash and kept in the viewing area by the bank.
What time should I arrive?
It is recommended that Participants arrive 45 minutes before the session. This will give you time to book in, collect a wetsuit, get changed & arrive in the Safety Briefing Area by the start of your session
Can I cancel my booking?
You can move a booking 48 hours in advance of the session time (subject to availability). Bookings within 48 hours can not be cancelled. If you cancel a booking more than 14 day before the session time, you will be entitled to a 75% refund. Bookings cancelled within 14 days of the session will be subject to no refund.

What if I am going to be late?
If you are late due to circumstances beyond your control we will TRY to fit you into the next available session but we cannot guarantee this
Can I just turn up to use the Park?
Yes. But we cannot guarantee there will be space on the Park to accommodate you. It is strongly recommended that you book online beforehand
How long does my session last?
A session is 50 minutes which includes a short Water Safety Briefing beforehand. You can book a double, back-to-back session but you will be required to leave the water in-between sessions & receive the Water Safety Briefing again
Is there a car park?
Yes. There is plenty of car parking space on-site
What do I need to bring?
Your booking reference to check in. A towel, swimwear & sunscreen
Are there any other activities on offer?
Yes we also offer Stand Up Paddle-Boarding. There is also Water-Skiing, Wakeboarding and Ringo Rides at Dams Watersports just a few hundred yards away from the Park.

Look out for special offers & competitions on our Facebook Page. Discounts are available for double sessions & for parties of 10+. If you’d like to hold a work do, a Birthday event or a hen/stag party please contact the Park for a bespoke quote.
Are there showers on site?
Yes we have outdoor rinse off showers.
Do you have lockers on site?
Yes we have lockers available. Padlocks can be purchased from the kiosk for £3 or bring your own.
